A rich, recognisable flavour with sweetness and tang in balance. Great solo and blends easily into berry and citrus mixes.

• Solo or as a mix base — Black Currant works great either way.
• Bowl: Turkish bowl or phunnel, 15–20g of tobacco.
• Sprinkle it in fluffy and don't press: moist tobacco settles in the bowl on its own.
• Heat: Kaloud or foil, 2–3 coals, 5–7 minutes to warm up.
• If it turns harsh, remove one coal.
